The Oil Black Leaf® 'Extrator' size S extractor, made of high-quality borosilicate glass, is the ideal solution for extracting essential oils and other concentrates from herbs. Measuring 130 mm long and 40 mm in diameter, this extractor offers enough space for approximately 6 g of extremely dry herbs. The extractor comes with a sturdy glass lid with a rubber insert to ensure a secure seal.

Robust and precise – for perfect extraction:
The extractor works according to a simple and efficient principle: First, a suitable coffee filter (not included) is placed over the five holes in the base of the extractor. After filling it with dried herbs, the glass lid with a rubber insert is placed on top. The extractor is held with the holes facing down over a heat-resistant, non-stick container, ensuring extraction in a controlled environment.

Safe application and easy handling:
The butane gas cylinder is placed against the hole in the lid and pressed down until the cylinder is empty. The resulting liquid slowly flows through the holes and into the collection container. To accelerate the evaporation of the liquid gas, the collection container can be placed in a hot water bath.

Important instructions:

The extractor is only suitable for extremely dry herbs.
Caution: After using the butane gas cylinder, you should wait 30 seconds before removing the empty container.
The room must be well ventilated and there must be no open flames within 45 meters.
